I had never heard of this moving company, but it was one of the 30 or so who responded to my email request made to an online referral site. I actually had moved from the very same apartment 4 years ago and then the buyer backed out of the deal the same day that we were supposed to close. On my last move I spent $5000 for Bekins to take my possions in a two bedroom condo up to Lake Arrowhead. I didn't want to pay that much again. However, this time I had a very short(21 day)escrow and had to find someone reliable and cheaper. Of all the people with whom I spoke, Tom at Let's Move It seemed to answer my questions without hype, very professional and my intuition said, his was the right company, even though he wasn't the most absolute cheapest. In this case my intuition was spot on. I had a number of conversations prior to the move, he called to confirm our plans the day before and the three workers showed up as promised. The workers were perfect gentlemen, shaking my hand to introduce themselves personally. They worked fast, joked and had a great attitude. They wrapped my very fragile glass tables and other breakables quite professionally. My only concern was that we didn't finish in Los Angeles until 1:30 P.M. and the traffic gets bad at that time. It didn't matter, as the workers didn't even stop for lunch, they ate in the truck while driving. We began unload at 4 P.M. and they didn't finish until nearly seven. They didn't leave until everything was in place perfectly . . . and they still had a 2.5 hour drive back home. To top it off, the cost of the move was less than one third of what Bekins had charged me. This is one great crew and responsible company and I would highly recommend to anyone considering using their services.
