My husband and I recently moved to CA and stored everything in a storage unti while we house-hunted. Once we found the house and it was time to move in, we were stressed about the best and most effecient way to move nearly 12,000 pounds of boxes and household goods 40 miles. We considered renting a truck, using friends of my son's, everything seems to have obstacles of one kind or another to overcome. This company was in one word, FANTASTIC! We've moved many times over the years and never, ever encountered the professionalism, friendliness, cooperation and honesty, which we received with LETS MOVE IT! Not to mention, their very affordable rates! We actually received quite a few quotes from some other island movers, and we were astounded by how ridiculously high they were. Unlike other shipping companies, LETS MOVE IT actually built a box around our 44 boxes, which they shipped over from Maui, Hawaii. Throughout the entire process, the employees treated us well, answered all our questions and concerns and even stored our boxes in their warehouse in Van Nuys, at NO cost to us, for almost a month! On the day we arranged to pick up our personal goods, we had a long drive down from Cambria (coastal CA) and arrived just after lunch, on a sizzling hot, 105 degree day! David, the owner and one of his handy employees, set to (without being asked I might add), and helped my husband load up the Penske rental truck. Afterwards, they offered us some lovely cold water, whilst we chatted about our move to Las Vegas. When and if we ever move again, we shall call them to assist us; because quite honestly, we were royally impressed with everything they did. We used "Lets Move It Right" moving company twice to move our belongings, The first was from our home to storage, The crew was very skilled in caring for our possessions. The second move was from storage to our new home. The home is a two story with a narrow staircase with little maneuvering room at the top of the stairs. All of the crew was extremely careful while moving our furniture which was large and heavy to the upstairs rooms. No marks on the walls or stairs were to be found. The crew worked quickly and the job was done sooner than expected. I would use them again and recommend them to others. more

I like that Tom answered my questions and was thorough. I like that the price was reasonable and the move happened seamlessly. What I did NOT like was that one of the movers was hitting on me and asked me for my phone number, whether or not I lived alone, where my boyfriend was and why he wasn't helping, and how much I pay for rent in my new place and my old place. What I did NOT like was that the other mover shook me down for all the cash I had in my wallet rather than wait for me to offer a tip. Both of those things were unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. I would like to say that I would use this service again and even recommend them because the move itself went so well but I felt very vulnerable and deceived by the movers themselves and I didn't appreciate it one bit. more
