I trust the doctors at TLC, especially Dr. Baker. My former cat had been misdiagnosed for over a year by a cat hospital in W. L.A. when I brought her in to the first available doctor at TLC. He got the diagnose right instantly and referred her to an internal medicine specialist. I now bring my cats here. The bad experiences started when the place got bought out by owners who care about the bottom line. However, the doctors are still great and they key to a good experience is to try to schedule your first appointment when they are not so busy and to be patient but insistent. The care here is still better than any of those places on Sepulveda and I will put up with a great deal to know my cats are getting the best medical care around. They are also truly available 24 hours a day. This attention to the bottom line isn't any different than what is going on with human medical care. It's awful, but I'll still take the best doctor over the friendliest service.
