I took a rescue dog that had been severely starved and had gone into a seizure to TLC. The staff did not seem concerned about the dog and offered no comfort or encouraging words. If anything, they seemed burdened by my presence. The doctor (I can't remember her name but she was a younger Asian woman) didn't have much of an explanation for me about the cause of the seizure or the status of the dog, and wanted to charge me almost $600 to keep him for 12 hours. I explained that this was a rescue dog I was temporarily fostering and they did not care. I would only go to TLC if I had no other option. I suggest researching the closest Pet Emergency location prior to the emergency so you are educated about where to go if/when something happens.
