Trinity Boxing Club is the best workout i have been part of in a long time. This place is great. Martin is the owner / trainer. This guy gets you going. He is a honest funny soul, but can get your butt in gear and work you out hard!. The best thing is that an hour and a half has gone by and it has felt like 15 minutes. The workouts tend to be non stop, with many short breaks (breathing time) in between. You condition, train and workout like a professional boxer would, only you're not getting punched at! (well at least I'm not!) The workouts consist of many different things. The thing I love most about this place is everyday is different from the next. We start by warming up, jumping rope, then moving into a full on sweaty exercise. The workouts can include any and all of the following depending what Martin has in store: bag work, ring workouts, machine workouts, outside in the alley workouts. For example yesterday we did intervals of punches and jumping jacks, then we got in the ring for 4 rounds of non stop (16mins.) where we threw punches in the air, sit ups, crunches, push ups, jumping jacks, chasing the rabbit / mountain climbers, v-ups, grasshoppers, speed skate motion, running in place, circling the ring right and left, and then collapsing.. From the ring we went outside and paired into teams where one person is in a rubber band trying to run, while the other is holding you back. after this we cooled down by doing more bag work. all this in 1 hour. that's just one day. other days, we have split into teams doing relay team type conditioning, to days where i have been alone and Martin working me out hardcore in the ring. I have pushed a car up and down an alley, played tug a war, pushed a wheel barrel with 2 big sandbags in it.. to doing workouts as simple as doing Isometrics with only my own personal weight. There are machines and kettle bells, and ropes. Its like I said, great and always different, this is not a workout, place, or lifestyle you get bored with. With the unlimited monthly training (one of martins options) you can come and go as you please, and always be guaranteed a healthy workout full of results. Martin is an excellent coach. And the people working out at the club are diverse and good positive energy. We all love to come. I never thought i would think of sit ups as relaxing... and actually feel guilty if i didn't make it in at least 3 days a week. In the three months i have been coming, I have lost weight, I feel so full of energy and health and I have abs again!!!! I highly recommend this place!
