I've had a couple of bad experiences at the big chain eyeglass places at the mall. There's nothing worse than getting a pair of glasses and the prescription isn't quite right and it gives you terrible headaches, so I went to 20/20 on the advice of a friend. I have a hard time picking out frames. If I'm going to wear something on my face all day I want it to be just right. Leslie, the young lady who helped me, was so patient and helpful and just a delightfully friendly person in general that it made the process fun. It took a couple of trips, but when I finally found the frames I wanted I saw Dr. Gehrig. He was very professional and for a change I didn't feel like the exam was rushed. The end result was I got glasses that I think look pretty good on me and the prescription seems just right. I'll definitely be back.
Pros: Friendly staff, thorough doctor
Cons: Not open on Sundays
