Review content:
Well, I must say that I was serviced very well in the David's Bridal on 1504 Old Country Road, Westbury NY. I feel compelled to write about it even though this commentary site is for David's Bridal on Glen Cove Road in Carle's Place. I can only imagine that they are all generally the same. I was serviced by a woman named Malacia, who was absolutely pleasant and accomodating. My main complaints are that it was a little disorganized in terms of actually getting someone to help you. I had to wait on a line for like fifteen minutes before finally realizing that I was on the wrong line and was rather supposed to confront the women at the front desk. Not entirely my fault, as at the other boutiques I went to I was serviced immediately the second I walked in, without having to walk around confusedly trying to find help. When I finally did find help, the woman at the desk was too busy on the phone (for like 15 minutes) before she could actually give me her time. But when Malacia came along, all was forgiven. She got me the dresses I wanted very quickly, and wrote them down for me into the computer and printed them out. The space was a little crowded as there were like two or three other people being helped in very close quarters, and it felt almost like an invasion of privacy because everyone was peering at you the minute you walked out of the dressing room to look in the mirror. The dresses weren't particularly the best I've ever seen. The fabrics were a bit cheap-- a lot of organza and hard material that I didn't find very pleasing. The prices were low, but I can only imagine that it was because the dresses were cheaply made. The staff, well at least Malacia, was hard-working and accomodating, servicing you to the best of her abilities. I would recommend this bridal shop to those of you who need to do last minute shopping for a wedding dress because you might just find what you are looking for. Bottom line, keep it as a last resort. Good Luck!!!!
Pros: Hard-working staff, Large enough selection, plus sizes
Cons: Had to wait, crowded, cramped space, cheap fabric on dresses
