Review content:
I have worked in many horse facilities throughout Minnesota. Mostly horse barns training for hunters and jumpers, but some dressage and quarter and western places as well.
I do chores and help around. Feed and lead horses to paddocks, clean stalls, fix fences, that sort of thing.
Load hay and bedding, I've been doing this off and on for well over fifteen years.
I now have been working at Shadow Creek Stables for about four years and I think it is a wonderful place for lessons or board.
It is not as big as some places, but I think its perfectly located on hwy61 and is priced reasonably.
The trainers are really good and they can take you from you're very first ride to six foot jumps, if you're up to it.
I like the owners and they have been here for decades and knows the business in and out.
I may be biased, but I think you would be very hard pressed to find a better place to board in this area.

Pros: Very reasonable rates, 30+ years in operation.
Cons: It can be a little tricky to find.
