I've been going 'down the shore' all my life, and I know how badly you can get ripped off with some of the hotels - charge a small fortune, never upgrade and some of them are downright filthy. We went to El Coronado last summer and had an outstanding stay. We had a 2 bedroom efficiency that was absolutely perfect - clean and comfortable and right on the gorgeous Wildwood Crest beach. It's a perfect location and one of the few times I've felt I got my money's worth and then some. The pool was sparkling clean and the patio area right on the beach with cabanas was a wonderful spot. We've already reserved for this August and can't wait to go back - I highly recommend it!!
