Review content:
My grandma was admitted into Manor Care in Palos Heights, after a surgery at Palos Hospial. After being there only a few weeks, we noticed she was being very poorly mistreated. Staff was only changing her diaper once a day, and since she was on a feeding tube, her throat needed to be suctioned on the hour every hour- we were lucky to get this done at least once a day- when one of us family members were there! And, this itself was like pulling teeth! This facility is staffed with the most unprofessional, LAZY, incompetent people I have ever seen in a work environment in my entire life. My grandma begged and begged to come home, but because of her feeding tube, it was difficult- we were currently in the process of arranging at-home or live-in help at the time my grandma passed away, while given 3-6 months to live only a week prior. I would like to thank Manor Care for her death. If you love your loved ones, PLEASE don't bring them there. I miss my grandma so much, and these people literally killed her. No one deserves this kind of treatment.
