Review content:
I recently saw Amy on a Saturday to get my hair colored and trimmed. She was very nice to talk to, but for some reason she did not put color all the way up to my scalp on the top of my head. I even noticed this while she was doing the application, and requested that she get the crown of my head really well. She brushed off my request and kept doing it the same way, so I decided to trust her. I like the color, but when I got home I realized I still had 1/4"" to 1/2"" of root on the crown of my head - quite a bit of the ashen brown color of my natural hair is peeking through - especially in my natural part. Very weird. Was she worried that the chemicals would bother my skin? (If so, why would I be getting my hair colored?) Or, was she simply not focused on the task as we chatted (more likely). Anyway, for $175, I feel ripped off - I will have to get the roots done again soon. I will certainly avoid this salon in the future. I am still trying to shake that sinking feeling! Pros: Nice space, location, good parking Cons: Very expensive for the quality of work
