When I called to get directions to Chabuca's, the hostess was rude and barely audible. I realized the place was busy. But when I arrived, I knew there were problems with this restaurant: 10 minutes passed with no host, owner or waitstaff in sight. When we finally got our name on the list, we were told it would be half an hour. AN HOUR LATER, after seating five different families, I complained to the owner and the manager. Although the restaurant seemed rather busy, the two of them were chatting, not bothering to assist their under-staffed waiters. I hated this restaurant. The food was okay, but after such a crappy experience up-front, I was fuming. The service absolutely stinks at this place, and the owner clearly could care less. The ambience is better at the Golden Corral, and their food is just not worth putting up with the service.
