Review content:
Since it was my birthday, I went to the ""spa"" for a color, haircut, and a manicure.
1st- Place is DIRTY,DIRTY,DIRTY!!! Old hair is stuck in the corners, dusty shelves, dirty mirrors, and some hairdressers were eating their lunch in the main area!Just Gross! It didn't feel like a spa at all.
2nd-The color was done semi-right...let's say the roots are still lighter then the rest of the color. Now,the cut it's a completely different story...I explained to the hairdresser what I wanted exactly, even showed her pictures. At first she said the cut is too difficult (Victoria's Beckham modern Bob) then said she will try.
3rd- When I got home, my husband pointed out that my hair was cut uneven. One side has more layers, the other is much longer!!!For a $45 haircut you would expect to get a symmetrical cut, but not at that salon. Just ridiculous. The place is a caricature of Aveda' salons. It should be closed down.
4th- I haven't had any product done on my hair while styling. I had to ask myself for a hairspray at the end!
5th- I've been to many different AVeda salons, in Florida and other places and this one is the worst!!! They don't massage your head, they don't pamper you like other AVeda places, nobody asked me if I would like water, tea, anything...which is supposed to be Aveda's signature as well....HAircuttery offers better services, and much cheaper.
AVOID this salon if you don't want to upset yourself!!!!
