We can not run away from this clinic fast enough, very disappointed. At my younger one's 18 month check up, the nurse practitioner told me he's due for 3 shots, I reviewed her order and signed the paper. But the technician came in and only gave two, I asked whether two shots were combined. She said no, and just left ignoring my concern. Couldn't wait for someone to talk to me that day, so I ended up calling the office multiple times afterwards, finally got the original nurse called back and apologized for the technician?s mistake. Apparently she messed up with another older child's order. Two of the three - Hep A#1 and PCV#4 weren't given, instead she gave us a Varivax #2 which should have waited till age 4 for 2nd shot, my child had got his first shot only 3 months ago. They tried to convince me it is safe, saying the CDC guideline indicates 2nd shot administrated 3 months after 1st is safe, sounds like they're more interested in covering their ass than avoiding such thing happen again, that really pissed me off. Now our new PD told us my child need to take Varivax again after 4 years old. Then my older one, he had fever without any other symptoms for 2+ weeks, back to normal for 3 days, then back again, I took him to office multiple times, the nurse practitioner does the same routine check each time, and just say ""could be some kind of Virus"", this dragged for over a month, got me really paranoid that he might have some blood disorder, 'cause he's easy to get bruises and had nose bleeding problem. I kept saying that you got to be able to do some test, I can't sit around and wonder as his fever continues. Finally requested them (yes, I requested) to order a blood test. Thank god it's nothing serious, he had high count of white cells, but other indications are normal, should be just viral infection according to a specialist, but he also find out his iron is too low, need supplements. It was a huge relief finally, but their attitude of ""there is nothing really we can do at this point"" got me mad. One more thing, when we asked them to transfer records to our new PD, they charged us $17.00 for 22 pages of medical record!!!
