Review content:
I was a devoted fan of Kona Grill... recommending it to friends, giving Kona Grill gift cards as gifts and eating there at least once every other month. My favorite entree was always the grilled sea bass. A few months ago, I ordered it and it wasn't as good as usual. A month or two later, I ordered it again, and was again disappointed. A few months have passed and I went there last night, and (shame on me) I ordered it again hoping I had just had bad luck on the last 2 times. Well, it was not edible. The fish smelled bad and tasted very fishy. After dinner was over my eating companion told the waitress about this and our past experiences. She was very nice and apologetic and offered to get me something different or a free drink or something. We declined. We just wanted to let the chef know so that perhaps in the future, they would go back to their original recipe and method. The waitress later came back with the check and said that in the future, we just shouldn't order the sea bass again because it would probably be the same.
Pros: great patio seating
