Businiess name:  Alpha Farm Horse Camp

Review content:
As an educated horseperson of 20+ years with a background in horse neglect and abuse cases, I have to say that Alpha farm is one of the worst local barns I have seen in the area. I have stopped by often and I know people that are still involved over there. Yes, the hay loft is about to fall in on top of someone, the fencing is dangerous, there is equipment out in the fields where the horses are kept. Several horses out there are still underweight who have been there for the whole summer (if people were taking proper care of the horses they wouldnt still be) and the creek which is used for water is filthy . In fact, I know people still out there and I was told there was a child who contracted such a bad case of worms from being in the creek that they had to go to the hospital. The indoor arena has been promised to the children for several years now, and the owners mother just became ill this year. Her being ill is now just the way to get out of a promise made to boarders after he raised the boarding rates saying it was b/c they were getting the indoor. If you are at all educated about horses, and you go to the farm and watch it being run, you will see. The stalls are DISGUSTING, and filled with manure, the horses are thin, children are left to run the barn, and it is run dangerously. I say let people go out and see the place, youll see what it is like. They may be a fun place to have a party, but I wouldnt keep a horse there, or trust my children on thier horses ever again.
