I spent my teens and twenties in Manchester and have been eating at Shady Glen off and on for over 50 years. Used to grab my girl friend and go get burgers and then the drive-in movie (no longer there) on Friday nites. Took my kids when I got married. Even they have the memories of Shady Glen, especially in summer when we did our sunday drive. FANTASTIC cheeseburgers and out of this world shakes. It is still a great place to take a family, it's clean, good service and it's still like ""the old days'. Eat at Shady Glen and it'll become a habit.
Pros: Great Family Place and the Nostalgia
Cons: There's not a Shady Glen where I live now
