We have been dining at The Flying Dutchman since we moved to Houston 20 years ago. Our favorite was always the Snapper Strips basket, the only place we've every known to serve this! We were so disappointed when we dined there on Mar. 28 and found not only a new menu (with no snapper strips), but the fried entrees also have a different breading, not nearly as tasty. When we inquired about the snapper not being on the menu, the waitress said ""no problem, the ktichen can prepare that for you."" When she delivered our meals, it was an entire fried snapper filet, not strips. The meal was okay, but not The Flying Dutchman that we loved. Unlike previous reviews, our service was fine.
