The owner of the business refunded 150 out of the extra I was charged for the part so I am raising the star rating and updating my original review...
I was not at home and this guy misdirected my wife that a air conditioning unit part that was bad on our less than 2 year old central unit is unlikely to be under warranty. He than proceeded to charge her 350 for a 100 dollar part that the air conditioning company would ave provided for free.
