Review content:
My family and I were patients of Dr Vanhuffel for about 10 years. Everything was great until I needed a crown and had to pay around 1,000 out of pocket. I needed to split up my copay into 2 payments (completed in a month). When I asked if this was possible, I was asked to schedule a meeting with her personally. On the day of the meeting, she sat in front of me at her desk and said ""cant you get a loan? "", I explained that I just bought a house then she replied ""if a bank wouldnt give me a loan why should she?"" I was appalled. She made me feel so very low. She said she was is a dentist not a bank. I left her office, drove away in tears and promptly found another GREAT dentist that fixed my broken tooth with a crown for about 200 dollars less and took 2 payments for the balance instead of requiring the full amount before they would begin any work. I think Dr Vanhuffel lost her human side when she built her new office. She lost 4 patients over this. She also failed to diagnose a mass in my daughters jawbone that appeared in xrays 3 years prior, but didnt get noticed. Then once ""NOTICED"" 3 years later, required admittance to the hospital for major surgery under general ansthesia.
