Review content:
I've been practicing yoga for over ten years now, and have taken class at many different spaces with many different teachers. I can say that Yogamaya is my favorite, without a doubt. The entire staff is warm and personable. It's easy to feel out of place in the often-trendy yoga world in NYC, but the people are totally welcoming and genuine. The classes I've taken there so far have all had a strong, dynamic flow, and there's a great balance of asana instruction and philosophy. The studio's website says it's goal is to be a place where ""everything is yoga"" - where all parts of the practice, not just asana, have a place. I think Yogamaya is absolutely achieving this; I've been to their kirtans and lectures, and have been inspired every time.
