Review content:
The experience begins when you walk through the doors of Yogamaya and quickly turns into a heart-led journey. You walk into an inviting atmosphere where there's no question that you belong; and a beautiful space where the attention to detail prepares you for the same care when it comes to your asana practice.
I live in Pennsylvania (after nearly 17 years in Manhattan) and while I've practiced at several NYC studios, it is Yogamaya that I lament not being close enough to enjoy regularly.
I've taken Stacey Brass' class and can say, without pause, that she is an exceptional teacher in every sense of the word. Her humor anchors an otherwise serious practice; She inspires the spirit of the practice while articulating physical direction that deepen the poses and opens up the paths for prana to flow with force and ease.
Yogamaya is a gift to NYC every Yogi & Yogini who experience its wide array of amazing offerings!
