Review content:
Recently visited Thai Place for 2 reasons. I wanted to see what all the hoolpla was all about and also because they don't close at 2:00 pm like some of the other local Thai restaurants do. They serve lunch until 3:30 pm. which is real plus. They immediately place a small salad consisting of lettuce, tomato and cucumber with a pretty tasty peanut dressing which is a nice touch. The service was very attentive but the Tom Yum Goong and the Pad Krapow just wasn't as good as Thai House or Royal Thai. Twice I bit into some sort of herb in the soup that I had to dispose of immediately. That kind of ruined the rest of it. I didn't like the big chunk of tomato in the soup either. I don't believe I will go back. I'll stick with the restaurants where I know I wiil be satisfied everytime.
Pros: complimentary salad, extended lunch time
Cons: the Tom Yum Goong soup
