Review content:
I strongly DO NOT recommend the Flagship Texas in Jonestown on Lake Travis for any event. I recently had my wedding there and the new 'captain' Branko refused to take the boat out on the water in 10 mph winds. There can only be one of three reasons for this: 1) The 'captain' cannot drive the boat 2) The 'captain' didn't want to spend the money on gas (which was paid for), or 3) The boat is broken and that is why the original owners sold it. They were very rude and the bottom line is that the 'captain' lied through his teeth to us and knew that he was doing it!! In addition, they began to jack up prices and nickel-and-dime us at the last minute. Austinites--do as you wish... But when considering a venue for an important event such as a wedding--I can safely say that you should RULE OUT the Flagship Texas.
