Elegant Dinner Venue 5/15/2012

Awesome Cruise! We had our semiformal end of the year dinner at The Flagship Texas. Food was great, plenty, and incredibly delicious. I dealt directly with Captain Branko, he was very friendly and flexible. We had some last minute mishaps the day off with some of our equipment and he helped us out. I would recommend The Flagship Texas for any dinner or reception. I would personally recommend to have a cruise during sunset to nightfall. more

Fun Cruise! 5/4/2012

Captain Branko and his staff are the best! We hosted a casual rehearsal dinner on the Flagship for approximately 90 people. There was room for everyone without being crowded in the dining room. We ordered the fajita dinner and it was perfect. Although it was a little windy on the top deck it didn't stop any of the guests from hanging out up there. It wasn't just us that thought it was fun judging from the many phone calls we received the next day. It was worth every penny! Thanks Captain! more

Great Cruise 11/15/2011

I recently had my wedding on the Flagship Texas and it was a great experience!! Captain Branko was very personable and easy to work with. I checked out a few other boats but not one even compared to the Flagship. The lake was SUPER low when we cruised, but the water level was the last thing anyone thought about. The sunset pictures with the lake in the background were great!! HIGHLY recommend this venue. more

Great Venue 3/27/2010

The staff and Captain of the Flagship Texas are very professional and have a strong focus on customer service. I recently hosted a customer appreciation party on the Flagship and was not disappointed. The food was great too. The weather however, did not cooperate. High winds prevented us from leaving the marina. However, this had no impact on our guest. Many of them did not even realize that we had not left the cove. I would recommend this venue to anyone. By far the best and biggest on Lake Travis. We are already planning on another party in the near future. Pros: Great staff, great food, and a very unique venue. Cons: At mercy of Mother Nature. more

Flagship Texas Customers Rave About Their Crusing Experience's 2/7/2009

As one of the managers at The Easy Street Marina I am constantly amazed at all the positive comments from people returning from their cruises on the Flagship Texas. Without exception they wish the cruise was not over! They talk about the great food and how the crew go out of their way to make sure they have had a enjoyable experience. I would recommend that anyone who wants an enjoyable event - they consider the more

Regarding the BEWARE comment above 2/7/2009

I attended this wedding, and had such a good time that I'm considering booking the Flagship for an office party. I'm surprised that she is this negative in her response. The captain DID take the boat out briefly, and WISELY chose to return to the harbor, when winds picked up. He even refunded her fuel fees, since they didn't stay out long. The crew of the boat was great the whole time, and it was a fun affair for everyone - except maybe the bride who had too high of expectations. It's always wiser to play it safe on the lake - and we still had a ball - even in the harbor...! Don't have any fear - The Flagship Texas is a well-run boat, and the staff will likely exceed your expectations.... more

New Ownership--BEWARE AUSTIN!! 5/28/2008

I strongly DO NOT recommend the Flagship Texas in Jonestown on Lake Travis for any event. I recently had my wedding there and the new 'captain' Branko refused to take the boat out on the water in 10 mph winds. There can only be one of three reasons for this: 1) The 'captain' cannot drive the boat 2) The 'captain' didn't want to spend the money on gas (which was paid for), or 3) The boat is broken and that is why the original owners sold it. They were very rude and the bottom line is that the 'captain' lied through his teeth to us and knew that he was doing it!! In addition, they began to jack up prices and nickel-and-dime us at the last minute. Austinites--do as you wish... But when considering a venue for an important event such as a wedding--I can safely say that you should RULE OUT the Flagship Texas. more

Fun ride 6/11/2002

I've seen the Flagship from shore, and was very excited to board it one day. It's a fun way to have an office party, or family get together. more
