Businiess name:  Casbah Moroccan Restaurant
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
The food, while authentic enough, was obscenely overpriced. For $22 I expected a large portion of lamb and vegetable couscous, a dish that is inexpensive to make and traditionally served in generous quantities. Instead I got a of bit of meat and vegetables over a spoonful of runny couscous. As for the Moroccan ""salads, where in Morocco do a couple of orange slices or cucumbers with salt and pepper pass as a salad? The music, which was not Moroccan, was excruciatingly loud when it accompanied the tacky belly dancing, which coincidentally is also not Moroccan, but an import from elsewhere in the Middle East. Our waiter was inattentative and forgot to bring items we requested. We sat waiting with empty plates a full twenty minutes between each course. The Casbah might be as close as you get to Moroccan dining in Savannah, but it is far from the real thing. Pros: Food (Mostly), Ambiance Cons: , Price
