Review content:
I do not recommend Casablanca restaurant on Lincoln + Rose in Venice, California. Don't go there unless you want or like ""extra (unedible) sauces"" or non-food items in your food. I went there on a date and I politely asked the waiter to change our table since I wanted to be seated near the guitarist instead of in the back. I was served by another waiter. I ended up with plastic or glass in my salad. I brushed it off. I also bit down on plastic in my main entree, and at that point I did not finish the rest of my food. The tortillas are delicious and the atmosphere is nice but it is not worth it if I can't trust the waiters or chefs to properly handle the food. I will never eat there again. When I showed the manager on duty the piece of plastic that I found in my food, he acted like he did not care. Casablanca's service was terrible and their health rating should be reduced to an ""F"" for failure.
Pros: Good tortillas, nice atmosphere
Cons: Food preparation is not sanitary. Avoid asking for extras unless you want to risk having things put in your food
