Review content:
I moved from the desert in October 2009 and initially took my BMW to a dealership to have a battery recharged. I found it not to be competitively priced, so I looked at the Internet, at a number of independent BMW service locations. I saw a number of good reviews for Scientific Automotive. If I don't see all positive reviews, I won't go to a place. I have two 10-year-old BMWs. I had a lot of work done on a 2000 740 iL and a 2000 Z3. On the 740, they replaced the engine mounts, the gaskets, the belts, filters and things of that nature, as well as spark plugs which had never been replaced. On the Z3, they did the same kinds of things, plus one turn signal side marker was cracked, nothing major but it all adds up. Having lived in the desert for five years takes its toll. My only frustration was that the receipt doesn't detail the work done. I couldn't look at the receipts now and tell what all was done. Also, the prices were a tad on the high side but nowhere near as bad as another place.
