Review content:
Yesterday I reserved the seat of ""The Melting Pot"" via restaurant com, but when I arrived, they didn't have my reservation and told me that they don't work with restaurant com. BUT why they offer a dinning certificate online? In addition, they didn't explain that they change the menu when we arrived the restaurant. They gave us a set menu which cost $150 per couples instead of the regular dinner menu that we saw on restaurant com, they told us that it was the only meal they were serving on Valentine's day. They gave us 2 thick books of wine menu instead. AND we CANNOT use the dinning certificate that we bought online. They gave us the appetizer before we even looked at the menu. We never had a change to refuse the dinning service. For the food, there is only 1 dish for 2 people! It is a small portion main course serving tiny pieces of beef & lemon chicken, 4 tiny shrimps, 1 lobster tail. Seriously me & my husband do not have great appetite, but this small dish cannot never fill us up. The cheese pot tastes bad. The wine favor doesn't go along with the bread or apple or fresh veggie at all. The dessert with chocolate dip is way too sweet. We made all the way driving to this restaurant, but nothing we could be satisfied. Nothing worth $150! It just ruined my Valentine's Day! Pros: Service Cons: Cost & Food
