Review content:
I had heard so much about 112 & was looking forward Friday reservation. 112 was nearly empty when we arrived (12:00 pm). Lovely niche, beautifully inviting. Waitress was prompt, attentive (she took our wine glasses away @ 1:30? Regulation for the liquor license? I wasn't bothered except she mentioned nothing of it until she took them) We each had appetizer & entree (kitchen open until 1:00) & a lovely bottle of wine. However, I found that each item ordered, althought lovely, was not the culinary triumph I expected. Everything was acceptably delicious. It seemed the theme was a sweet/heat pairing from amuse nuts at to the carmel corn. I felt it needed more creative elements paring/menu. Bottom line: it is nice. I wouldn't wait for weeks to get a table, when you could so easily find the same (BETTER) quality at another (like Heartland in St. Paul, mmmm!!)
Pros: fair menu prices, nice wine list
Cons: no valet parking, average
