Review content:
I almost chose to ignore writing about my recent experience, except for the fact that there were other stories on this site that were of an identical nature. My two bits are that the food tends to be exceptional and I have eaten there more than a dozen times. This past weekend, however, we experienced what I would characterize as boderline hostile service from not just one staffer, but the whole group of 'upstairs' servers. They must have felt belittled by being sequesterd to the second floor, much as our group felt initially. Once we settled in, we were very happy with our table, but the experience went downhill from there. We simply couldn't get any attention and when we did it was contrite and offensive. Asking for something, as simple as parmesan cheese for our pasta was an imposition.
