Review content:
The May outing of our dinner-of-the-month group of friends went down as everyone's all time favorite. Everyone kept on insisting that everyone else try their dishes, because everyone was so impressed with the flavors, and it was hard to decided which dish was the best regardless of price level. Whether it was the $9 cheeseburger or the $28 steak, everything was executed perfectly and very creatively. Even the french fries were incredible. LIttle surprises everywhere; olives served before the meal tasted of anise, while the bread had a hint of popcorn (not sure how that would be done, but it was very good). The Tagliatelle with Foie Gras Meatballs deserves all the raves it gets in other reviews. The Gnocchi are more perfect than at just about any Italian restaurant in the Twin Cities. Desserts were excellent too (and we usually don't bother with desserts, but assumed the excellence would continue and we were right). The wine list included some good selections by the glass but may have been a bit pricier than elsewhere, although you get a nice healthy pour. Everyone in our party said they want to come back, because there were more items on the menu that we didn't get to try that sounded just as wonderful.
Pros: Incredible Food, Great Atmosphere, Reasonable Prices
Cons: Need to make reservations way in advance
