Review content:
What a FABULOUS dinner my friend and I had at Sutro's last night. Better yet, the Dine About Town promotion feels like a real deal there considering their average entree price is close to $28. I had the organic broccoli soup which was 20% cream, a juicy grilled swordfish that was prepared with some really tasty interesting root-like vegetables, and a fancy dessert sampler. My friend had the soup also, and a pillow steak that was amazing as well. (Kobe beef). She had the creme brule for dessert and she I and both agreed that it was the best creme brule we'd ever had in our lives. Service and ambiance were great. Also, you can't beat watching the waves crash onto the rocks and shore below from a view table in an architecturally-savvy restaurant.
Pros: Food, ambiance, service, unique dining experience
Cons: parking might be tough at times
