My experience with purchasing a puppy at LOOK PUPPIES was a NIGHTMARE. I purchased a puppy as a gift. When I went to visit the puppy prior to the date I was scheduled to pick the puppy up an employee warned me to take the puppy home that day because the owner was ""having problems."" I noticed the puppy was sick and immediately took it to an independent vet who informed me that there was no way the puppy could have been the age that Marvin, the owner, stated it was. Oops, I failed to mention that the store had ""lost"" the papers for the puppy so they gave me ""substitute papers."" I ended up spending a fortune because the puppy had to be hospitalized. After reading other reviews I consider myself lucky because at least my puppy lived. When the vet's office began to question the owner about the age of the puppy he became argumentative and rude. Buyers beware - don't just walk - RUN!
