Cha Cha's is awesome... Located right in the middle of Chevy Chase, this place is like no other hair salon in Lexington. Most importantly, it's set apart in every way you want it to be. There are no snooty fake smiles to deal with, no untrained, unqualified, and uninteresting stylists to pump your ears full of rehearsed inaccurate knowledge that they read directly from a bottle of hair product just to sell you some stuff. These guys are down to earth, cool people that KNOW their hair. Professionals. The atmosphere is great. Its very relaxing. The stylists are welcoming, the music is subtle and enjoyable...not top 20 pop radio and not elevator music to put you in a coma. It's classy but comfortable-not over the top in any way. It has a bit of a modern feel but not cold like you'd think. You walk in and immediately want to sit down. The place has character. Let me say, I'm a person that cares about my hair and I literally walk in to the shop, head towards Jason's chair and say, ""do whatever you want"". That's trust!! And he never lets me down! My girlfriend and I both went in for cuts recently and I was amazed at how proficient Jason was while cutting my girl's hair. His knowledge and techniques were awesome! He answered all of her questions, offered helpful advice and take-home knowledge, and didn't just try to sell her some hair products. Most importantly she walked out feeling great about her hair. If you just want someone to literally ""cut your hairs on your head"", go to Fantastic Sam's I'm sure they'll hook you up reeeal nice. Or you could buy that vacuum, Flowbee thing.. Face it, nothing we spend money on these days makes you feel as good as a new haircut... or a new pair of shoes. I wish Cha Cha's sold sneakers.. Pros: read the details... Cons: kinda wanna stay after and eat a steak..
