Get ready to bend over, this company has a monopoly, by contract, on senior pictures for Newbury Park High School and other Ventura County area schools, and they charge accordingly - lots of $$$$. It is asinine that in this day and age where photography costs have come down dramatically compared to just 5 years ago, that a company such as Visual Photography in Camarillo can charge such outrageous prices for their services. They will charge $60 or more for a sitting fee, and the least expensive Varsity package adds $248 to the total. Other local photography studios will charge less than $100 for the same service. It is equally disturbing that Newbury Park High School allows this to happen ? one has to wonder whose pockets are being lined with cash....
