Beautiful photos! Jesse had so much fun! The photographer was great! I don't know how she managed to get such a relaxed and natural looking expression from her, she's normally so shy an ends up looking awkward! I was SUPER impressed!! We spent about $250 total for a nice package and a really neat book with all of the shots. Very fair price! I don't mind paying for photos that look great. These will not end up stashed in a drawer!! more

Way, Way Way too expensive! Try $450 for one 11 x 14 photo. $125 for a sitting fee plus $300 for ONE PRINT! Somehow they have a monopoly with the school for yearbook photos and they get greedy and overcharge. I am one thoroughly disgusted customer. Hello! It's not Brain Surgery!!! more

For the amount of money Visual Photography charges for senior pictures, you will definitely be able to find a photographer that will take much better pictures in much better settings. Visual does a very high volume of business, so I am sure it would be hard to personalize the pictures at all. This is the same company that I have been paying $35 to every year for a large packet of school pictures, and I was very surprised to see that senior pictures can very easily be $1000 or more. Pros: Pics are well lit, in focus Cons: HIGH price, boring sets, no artistic content whatsoever more

I just picked up my daughter's pictures and they are BEAUTIFUL! I have had nothing but a wonderful expierience at visual! I don't know if other reviewers have really checked around but their prices are normal for these kind of pictures. You get what you pay for! These are NOT sears or walmart photos!! Pros: quality, service, no pressure sales people more

Visual Photography takes very nice pictures, however, they are EXTREMELY overpriced. If you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for their package deals, they still charge an exorbitant amount for the photo sheets a la carte. I suggest just getting the yearbook photo done, maybe purchase a few wallets then go to Sears or Penney's for additional photos. Sears charges a very reasonable amount per sheet of photos - and you can get a CD of the photos to reprint additional copies later. Much better deal and still good quality photos. Pros: Nice pictures, friendly staff Cons: Too expensive; no initial price quotes until viewing proofs more

I just picked up my sons senior photos and I absolutely love them. Yes they were a little expensive but so is everything now a days, and these beautiful photos are worth every penny! I found the staff very helpful and courteous, and my son, (who didn't want to go in the first place,) said he actually had fun getting his pictures taken!! more

Get ready to bend over, this company has a monopoly, by contract, on senior pictures for Newbury Park High School and other Ventura County area schools, and they charge accordingly - lots of $$$$. It is asinine that in this day and age where photography costs have come down dramatically compared to just 5 years ago, that a company such as Visual Photography in Camarillo can charge such outrageous prices for their services. They will charge $60 or more for a sitting fee, and the least expensive Varsity package adds $248 to the total. Other local photography studios will charge less than $100 for the same service. It is equally disturbing that Newbury Park High School allows this to happen ? one has to wonder whose pockets are being lined with cash.... more
