Review content:
My friends and I are on an adventure on visiting every Japanese restaurant in Brevard County. We ended up at Haru the other night and we loved it! Ok, so judging from the location, from the outside it looked like a hole in the wall. We went in and was kind of disappointed to be greeted by a caucasian, but she was very pleasant and knew her stuff. We were fooled by the outside because inside was a very pretty atmosphere. All of the tables we set up accordingly to Japanese culture. There was a sushi bar in the back with a Japanese looking guy fixing things up, so that made up for the lack of Japanese staffers. Another disappointment was the music in the backgroung playing American music. Would had been nice to hear Japanese instrumental stuff. Had enough of pop crap. Anyway, we ordered appetizers, rolls, and I had the chicken teriyaki and my friend had the steak teriyaki. It was devine! and they served you enough to fill you up. Wasn't expensive and overall it was a pleasant experience. Next week we'll visit Fujiyama in Suntree.... Pros: Warm atmosphere; knowledgeable hostesses Cons: American music was playing. Ruined the Japanese feel.
