Review content:
Selwyn Pub is not a great place. It looks pretty run down the bartender was in fact rude. The beer specials were horrible, I think he told me $20.00 for a domestic bucket, last time I checked that was not a special. Almost any bar in town you can get a $1.50 domestic on tap every day of the week. Other bars offer things like $2.00 Guinness every day or have a tap night. The day I went to Selwyn the Boddington's or whatever draft I had, it has been a while now, was $5.00 or $6.00 bucks and I just wasn't impressed, I don't believe for that price it was even an English pint. The people sitting outside were snotty little Myers Park girls and very caught up in themselves. I would rather go to Tyber, Tavern on the Tracks of a Handful of other bars. There is truth to the fact that the cheap specials draw a poor quality crowd, Charlotte doesn't have a trully fantastic bar which is SAD.
Pros: Good looking women
Cons: Bad Service, over priced drinks and the place looks like a hole in the wall
