Review content:
I took my Excursion in with 4 issues. Was told that there would be a $129.00 per hour diagnostic charge, no problem, I said. They called later with the estimate in the $5200 range ($4200 was for injectors). Since I would get another opinion if I received a $5200 est for my teeth, I told her I would pick it up. The bill was approx $320. What they failed to tell me was the clock started anew with each issue checked. In other words, if the 1st item took 5 min to diagnose, I was charged for a min 1/2 hour (which I was never told) Ditto for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. I took the truck to another Ford dealership and they indicated all 4 items should have taken the Tech 1-1.5 hours to diagnose. They fixed all the problems for $1500. The injectors ($4200) were mis-diagnost. I went back to Midway to get the $170 I was charged for the wrong diagnosis. Everyone at these car dealerships treat the customer with kid gloves and TLC so you don't ever question if their stealing you blind. Be where, people!
