My husband took a pair of brand new jeans ($200 with the tags on) to be hemmed. He brought another pair of jeans with him and asked them to make them the same length. The day after he picked them up he took the tags off and put them on and they were waaaaay too short. He went back to Cotney's and they basically told him he was a liar and that those weren't the same jeans, so he came back the next day to talk to the owner and he was a complete jerk. This time they claimed that he asked for them to be that short. So one day they aren't the same jeans the next day they are, but he asked for them to be a pair of $200 highwaters??? Get your story straight. What happened to the customer is always right. They wouldn't replace the jeans or refund the $$ for the alteration and then asked him to leave their store and never come back. I will never use them for anything, even if my life depended on it.
