What other reviewers have said, I agree is all true. I've eaten here many times because I work in the neighborhood. This place is a ""lunchtime"" restaurant. You won't find dinner here. They have specials for each day of the week, and for instance the Wednesday special was Pollo entomatado or bistek. But today they were out of Bistek. But I recommend that you call and check when they have Bajo available and get that. It's a good value and enough to feed two people if they are not BIG eaters. Includes platanos, salad, beef and yuca. Also check out the central american drinks, maybe you've never heard of one or two, like they have tamarindo, chilla, horchata(nicaraguan style, not Mexican style) and other drinks. Carry your food to the table on a tray. Pros: authentic Nicaraguan, basic but consistent service Cons: could be long line and crowded, not much parking
