Review content:
In February 2002, I decided to enter into an agreement with Jokoda Group for some magazines since it sounded like a sweet deal at the time. I was sent an invoice agreement that would binding for 30months. I agreed to pay my monthly amounts and even communicated with them that I wanted to change my monthly billing. They agreed, I received my magazines & I was happy. After my agreement was completed, I called to ensure my program was completed. They assured me it did and over the course of the year they would call me once in a while to follow-up on the service I received and asked if I wanted to continue my subscriptions again. They even offered to use them as a reference. In July 2006, I received another followup call asking about the service I received in my previous order and was asked if I wanted to renew my subscriptions again. I declined to renew my subscription since I couldn't even keep up with the ones I previously had. The service was great but I didn't need the magazines. A few days later I receive a reorder invoice. I immediately wrote a letter stating that I did not want to renew my magazines. I even have a letter from Jokoda Group a few months later stating that my previous agreement was fulfilled. A couple months go by and I still continue to receive magazines & didn't understand why. I also noticed charges on my credit card. I called to dispute the charges. I was told Jokoda Group was the company doing the billing. I contacted them & again advised that I did not enter in any agreement with them and to discontinue my subscriptions & billing. Now I receive a letter from a debt collector attempting to collect a debt. Since then noone has contacted me for service followup since the reorder in July 2006. I was extremely upset when I called them to dispute the charges on my card. Until now....they have not yet responded. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with such a company. DO NOT ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH JOKODA GROUP. I WOULD STICK TO BUYING MAGAZINES DIRECTLY FROM MAGAZINE COMPANY ITSELF OR IN STORES!!!! Pros: Example: best croissants in town Cons: What are the drawbacks?
