The people that come around to sign you up for this service are so nice. When they come out to install your system they are friendly and very helpful. Once you have signed your contract and have a problem, watch out!!!! The customer service agents are awful. They are either ignorant or keep giving you the wrong answers purposely to keep stringing you along. My alarm system no longer worked because it was analog as apposed to digital and I could not afford to buy the new backup which would have cost me around $300 plus the cost of installation around $200. I was not allowed to end my current contract and actually ended up signing a new 3 year contract in order to get the new system at no cost. My only other option would have been to continue paying for a nonworking system for the remainder of my contract which was two years. I definitely did not want to sign another contract but what option did they leave me? If someone comes to your home to sign you up, I suggest slamming the door in their face!
