Businiess name:  Chow Down

Review content:
Chow Down definitely lives up to the positive reviews on CitySearch. The employees love their jobs and are passionate about helping you take care of your pet. They always have smiles on their faces and enthusiastic welcomes. They are instantly on hand to help with finding the best product for your pet and insist on carrying large bags of food to your car. The owners are fixtures of the Evergreen community and truly believe in animal care and rescue, evident in aspects like their foster cat room and advocacy of no-kill causes. Chow Down always gives you the best value possible and carries only good quality products they believe in. They keep record of how many bags of food you buy and with brands like Nutro, you get your 10th bag free without having to turn in a rebate. The dog wash is very affordable--you're charged based on the amount of time it takes to wash your dog instead of an expensive flat rate. Other pet stores in town are nice and locally owned, but Chow Down has been there the longest and deserves your business. It's unfortunate that one customer had a bad experience with another customer's dogs*, but there is always the option to leave your pet in the car or outside the door, especially since the space is small and it may be difficult to avoid another pet that yours may not get along with. With all of the help inside, it's easy to get in and out within minutes. Pros: A local business that cares about its customers and all animals. Cons: The space is small and it may be difficult to bring larger or multiple animals inside.
