So normally, I would sometimes get a breakfast with my 20-month-old son on days when he wasn't in daycare. This day we went to Mimi's in Aurora, even though I have been there before and their eggs were GROSS. I thought we'd get some pancakes or a sandwich because he wasn't feeling well. When I asked for a highchair next to our booth, the hostess said NO. So I asked the waiter, could we please have one, even if I pushed the highchair into the table so that it was NOT blocking ANYONE's way. He said I could and had a busboy bring it over. Just as the busboy was bringing it to the table, this totally rude and ugly hostess came over, got in my face and said ""I TOLD YOU WE CAN'T DO THAT. IF YOU PUT HIM HERE THINGS WILL FALL ON HIM AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LIKE THAT, ARE YOU??!?!"" This ugly troll said it so loud and obnoxiously that two tables turned around to watch. I asked the waiter to see a manager, and after 10 minutes she came over- and when I told her the story she just looked at me blankly and said ""Oh... sorry.""
