Review content:
I have been going to Doran's for decades. I have heard the staff there talk to customers about pulling back the husks on the corn many times. This is mostly because those who do that leave the ears of corn open. I have never heard anyone say anything to a customer about that without also saying that if you cut off the end because of it not being filled out (which has also been explained as that way because of lack of rain) or because of worm damage, please take extra ears to make up for the lack of full ears. About the price. Yes they are a bit more than Giant Eagle. The difference is that corn picked at Dorans is picked fresh every day. How long has it been on the shelf at the grocery? All in all, it is a great place to buy local and readily edible produce.
