I got my 5 year old female from Hunnington. Calm, sweet, affectionate, incredibly well behaved, was so easy to train to live in the house. Never nervous. Large but not overweight at 90 lb, so you need to want a big dog to consider Hunnington. Everywhere we go people comment that she is one of the most beautiful they've ever seen. Very healthy except bad skin problems, nearly constant skin infections and I spent a lot of money on vets before we got her stable on Comfortis for fleas and weekly skin allergy shots she will have to take forever. Now her skin is fine. I would do it again, shots and all, to have her. We have had other Goldens and love the breed but her personality, beauty and temperment stand out even among Goldens.
Pros: best pet I've ever had
Cons: bad skin problems
