I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gwinn two years ago who literally cured my migraine pain so when my 70 year old father fell down a flight of stairs resulting in 2 fractures in his spine, Dr. Gwinn was the first person I thought about taking my Father to see. Dr. Gwinn again was patient & compassionate with my Dad. He treated him with respect by looking him in the eyes and genuinely listening to what he had to say. He validated my father's concerns but quickly addressed each of them. He ordered an MRI right away finding Osteoporosis which we would not have thought for a million years as he is a big burly man. Prior to this, I only thought of older women having Osteoporosis. This is why I am not a Dr. and Dr. Gwinn is fantastic. He personally followed up with my Father's test results and was genuinely concerned about his well being. His nurse, Peggy was most thoughtful & kind through the entire process. Through Dr. Gwinn's expertise & Peggy's kindness, my father had the best possible outcome he could have considering his injury. I continue to recommend Carolina Back Institute to my friends, family, & honestly anyone I overhear even in a Department store talking about their back or joint pain.
