New management, new ownership, who cares. Bad is bad. The opening week was their BEST week. Lets just put it that way. They are under their 2nd new management. The inside for some reason was a little unsettling though and needs extreme interior decoration/renovation. Felt like I was sitting in a wooden box. Waitress was OVERLY attentive to our table which was really annoying. Manager was welcoming and friendly. Its a shame because our 2nd visit here was definitely our LAST. I love squid with mixed vegetables whenever I go for thai, and this 2nd time around when I ordered it, it was the most horrible, fishy tasting dish I have ever had at a thai restaurant in my life.\r The veggies were fresh, but the squid was old and tasted old and almost blanched in chemicals to keep it fresh. Normally there is a very light brown/clear sauce that is mixed in to stir fry with the veggies, but this time around I received an extremely dark heavily black pepper tasting sauce with chunks of strange things in it. I think it may have been ginger because I took a bite and bit into something extremely overpowering: tasted like pounds of black pepper and overpowering ginger. I couldn't eat anymore, told our waitress, and all she did was offer me a FREE DESSERT. Sure, that should make up for a whole $14 lousy dinner that I couldn't bear to eat. This place won't be in business for long. You don't offer a dissatisfied customer a free DESSERT instead of comping & removing their meal for something different.
